Women Enterprise Alliance (WenA) is a Nigerian registered Non-Governmental Organization founded by Her Excellency, Aisha Babangida, a humanitarian and visionary leader committed to fostering sustainable entrepreneurship development. Her Excellency remains an advocate for women’s empowerment, working to increase women’s rights and provide them with the support and resources they need to become world-class entrepreneurs.

Why WenA Exists

Women Enterprise Alliance (WenA) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Nigeria. Whose mission is to develop world-class and diverse entrepreneurs who can meet the demands of an ever-changing marketplace in Nigeria. In collaboration with our partners, we design programs to foster job creation and enterprise development in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

WenA's mentoring program offers consistent and field-tested mentorship with qualified mentors. The organization is poised to support entrepreneurs by navigating challenges and successfully growing their business.

Capacity Building

Through blended learning, the organization offers a comprehensive combination of elements to provide entrepreneurs with the essential tools for success.

Business Development Support Services

As an accredited Business Development Services (BDS) provider, WenA offers a range of services tailored to the development of the Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSME).

Advocacy

WenA remains committed to the promotion of gender-inclusive economic development, mental health in business, and to cultivate an ecosystem for SMEs. WenA is an advocate for local new and established businesses by providing the tools they need to be successful.

Access to Market

WenA creates market opportunities for entrepreneurs by fostering a marketplace community. Through online and event-based networking, the organization facilitates conversations and connections.

WenA facilitates access to finance for qualified businesses with our financial institution as well as potential investors.
